Michael Jackson was influential as hell ( all the way from Kanye to Justice to Death From Above 1979 )

The reason his death is more tragic is because he was in the same era as us. We grew up with his music. I'm sure if we were around the time when Jimi Hendrix or John Lennon died it would be the same thing depressing as hell but we're not.
