Lil Wayne's last studio album was Tha Carter II released in 2006. Yes, those artist have better mic skills than Lil Wayne but none of them are selling records like he is, only Lauryn Hill when she made music. I don't understand why people are hating on him so much. I guess its him claiming he's the greatest rapper alive. If that's the case, people are doing exactly what he wants, talking about him. Everyone hating is keeping his name in their mouth whether is agreeing or disagreeing with his claim. Jay-Z has made the claim of greatest rapper alive, doesn't mean he is though. I like Lil Wayne but I don't think he's the greatest. I've liked him when he was just a kid and no one cared about him hardly when Cash Money first started. He's paid dues and haven't fallen off. Weezy got swagger and people like it but don't worry, he'll lose some of the spotlight in 08. And by the way, some of my favorite artists are Ras Kass, Talib Kweli, Jean Grae, Mos Def, Common, Redman, Gza, Ghostface, Rakim, The Roots, Can-i-bus, Busta Rhymes, OC, OGC, Helta Skeltah, Buckshot, 2Pac, Keith Murray, Nas, Jay-Z, Biggie, Big Pun, Big L, Chino XL, Slum Village, Dilated Peoples etc. A lot of those more underground acts I listen to and have some of their album but I'm not gonna re-list what you already typed.
