Women are degrading themselves in hip-hop videos. Some men think that regular women are supposed to act like that? I'm not saying that all hip-hop videos are negative. But most of them are.

The girls in hip-hop videos, choose to be in that situation. Though, they do give women a bad name they're also grown women and those choices come with consequences.
Also, about the young girls watching them... Parents need to do their jobs and rear their children. Don't blame the media for anything that's going on in life. My mom NEVER kept me on a short lease... I was able to do as I pleased because my mother knew she'd raised a WOMAN and not a whore.
The young girls that dress they way they do, usually do it for attention... Maybe they aren't getting that attention at home. But, my point is that it all starts at HOME. The media has nothing to do with.
And another thing, guys don't think girls should behave that way. They just usually want easy girls so they can get the one thing that they're after. I have 3 brothers... And all male cousins. I know how some men think. But in reality, no MAN wants his WOMAN to behave that way. They may want to go after a "video chick" for sex, but at the end of the day... What they really want is a respectful woman.

If a girl wants to shake it for the camera, she has to deal with it. If a guy feels that all females should act like a video vixen in a video, that's his problem. I don't see why I should blame video vixens for the way some guys may think.
Edit: I know some teen girls that "think that they need to look sexy all the time, or wear skimpy clothes in order to be noticed" but I look at video vixens and I don't aspire to look or act as they do, in a hip hop video. I see it like this: you have to understand the values and morals that these teen girls have.

Welp...if they are looking up to video girls then thats another case of lack of parenting...Most of the videos that you are watching must be degrading...I havent really seen any degrading videos...Most of the ones I have seen the women are mostly just standing around posing...Also just because they are in the video doesnt mean they are getting down like that...but im sure some if not most may do extra...but a lot of that is behind the scenes and if nobody told it...who would have known...But thats in almost most of the entertainment industry...U always hear about singers sleeping with executives to get record deals...Mariah and Diana Ross...theyve done and moved on to stardom...Cant knock their hustle...If they wanna be that then fine..but dont put them down...just dont do it and parents should teach their kids about ish like that. word up

Don't even blame the fellas. Girls degrade themselves. I'm in high school and girls walk around singing these lines "shutup bi**ch swallow." Then some of them want to get mad when guys call them hoes. alot of girls now, like that plies type image and think he's so dang fine and look at what he talks about. I'm sorry but alot of girls like that image. If some women want to degrade themselves in hip hop videos then who cares? They obviously have no self respect and what else do you expect from hoes? Nothing, that's there job to be hoes so let them get on their job. Men who think regular women are supposed to act like what they see on music videos are trash. Ladies need to stop blaming the fellas because most of it is our fault. I have no problems with hoes because they just make classy girls look that much better. At the end of day guys want a girl with class.

approximately 2 a protracted time in the past, a feminist went to do an investigative venture into the exploitation that exceeded off in strip golf equipment. Armed with a set of standards of exploitation, she got here across to her marvel that the exploitation that became occurring became by ability of the strippers, and the shoppers have been the exploited ones. there became a e book printed, and that i examine a evaluate of it, yet forgot the author. ___There is a primitive style of empowerment for strippers that apparently comes from the sexual manipulation of the shoppers. yet a minimum of a few of those women people have some emotional subject concerns that make it complicated for them to have primary relationships, wherein they might get the comparable style of empowerment devoid of the undesirable popularity. i've got well-known a number of interior the intercourse trades (not professionally), and those problems in touch habit for decrease than considered one of them. ___This isn't to disclaim that exploitation is going the two procedures, however the same old tale makes it sound like each and every such women each and every person is dragged into the business enterprise kicking and screaming, and none rejoice with their artwork. the effortless tale merely isn't authentic.

They're not degrading themselves anymore than other women who work in the adult industry.
The rap videos in which Buffy, Lyric, Melyssa Ford, etc. are shaking they're @ss are for GROWN UPS, not for little teenage girls to be watching.
I do respect your opinion though.

Rap videos suck in more ways than one. Women aren't forced to be in the videos. They fight, ***** and fvck for the ability to be in them. Fvck 'em.
