Can someone tell me how Tupac died?

On September 7, 1996, at approximately 11:15 pm, Tupac Shakur was struck by four of twelve or thirteen shots fired from one vehicle to the next in the middle of the street, with bullets hitting him in the chest, the pelvis, and his right hand and thigh. One of the rounds apparently ricocheted into Shakur's right lung.





He was taken to the University Medical Center, in and out of consciousness and was heavily sedated, breathing through a ventilator and respirator, placed on life support machines, and ultimately put into a barbiturate-induced coma after repeatedly trying to get out of the bed.



While in Critical Care Unit on the afternoon of September 13, 1996, Shakur died of internal bleeding; doctors attempted to revive him but could not impede his hemorrhaging. His mother, Afeni, made the decision to tell the doctors to stop.



He was pronounced dead at 4:03 pm(PDT). The official cause of death was noted as respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest in connection with multiple gunshot wounds.

On September 7, 1996, Tupac attended the Mike Tyson-Bruce Seldon boxing match at the MGM Grand in Vegas. After the match, Pac spotted 21 year old Orlando Anderson (Baby Lane), a member of the Southside Crips in the hotel's lobby. Because Anderson and a group of Crips had beaten up a member of Death Row's entourage in a Foot Locker a few weeks earlier, Pac rushed and knocked down Anderson. After the fight, Tupac met up with Suge Knight to go to Death Row-owned Club 662, now known as Club Seven. He rode with Knight in Knight's 1996 black BMW 750i Sedan, along with Pac's friends, The Outlawz, and bodyguards.

At 11:14 p.m., while stopped at an intersection of East Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, Tupac was suddenly shot by four bullets that hit him in the chest, the pelvis, and his right hand and thigh. One of the rounds ricocheted into Tupac's right lung. He was taken to the University Medical Center and breathed through a ventilator and respirator. Six days later, he died of internal bleeding and the doctors couldn't save him.

Matt's right and said it first. He died on the Vegas strip after beating down a Crip who had done the same to some of the people he was rolling with.

Nobody told him not to go to Vegas other than his bodyguard, who claimed he said that in a video interview after the fact. People always say that after someone dies or something bad happens. They usually do it to make themselves more relevant to the incident, so people can always say "that guy almost saved the iconic person's life". Shaq also claims he could have saved Pac's life that night. All Frank Alexander said was that he didn't want Pac going to Vegas, but didn't cite it as a security concern or anything like that. He gave no reason as to why he would say that, and there was no indications that there was any danger in Vegas beforehand. Just a bodyguard that's out of a job, trying to sell his DVD's and continue to make money off a dead man's life that he failed to protect. As far his death, he was killed for sticking up for 3 people in his crew after Orlando Anderson's group randomly beat them down at the mall previously. So you know, if you were rolling with 2pac and a bunch of guys punked you, he'd have your back, even if you weren't that close to him. Give the man respect when it comes to that, he earned it. We'd all be lucky to have a friend like that.



He was always sticking up for people and it's what ultimately cost him his life.



And as far as talking about other people, most of them talked about him first or disrespected him, check the record. The only ones that can be disputed would be Nas and Dre, but he listed some very good reasons for dissing Dre, so that only leaves Nas. Everybody else that he dissed had it coming to them, either because they dissed him while he was in prison or because they failed to act like loyal friends and went and hung out with two of his 94 shooters in public while he was in prison.
