Jay-Z being a Freemason?

Ok, im sick and tired of people thinking Jay-Z is a freemason, You gotta be an idiot if your gonna believe those videos on youtube and whatever. You might as well just say Pacs alive too.....And i heard some rumours going around that Nas is Freemason also? And people are hating on Jay and Nas saying they worship the devil, so there not good lyricists. WTF?!? First of all, they are NOT freemasons. Second even if they are, how the hell does that make them bad lyricists? If u listen to Biggie, he talks about going to hell instead of heaven and saying **** Jesus, as well does Big L. So are they bad lyricist too? Seriously, ur listening to there ****, not marrying them, Calm the **** down. So my point being Jay-Z is one of the greatest rappers of all time and is not a freemason.

I think all those theories are ********. I mean this is coming from religious people, so you can see the irony here (they believe in something we can't see, yet they also believe in a society that barely left a footprint in history)...You gotta watch out for stupid people like these. They'll kill in the "name of god" to get their point across.



The freemasons were a bunch of people who were hated by the catholic church because the catholics thought they worshiped the devil..they only didn't believe in god...but I guess that means you're a devil worshiper because stupid religious people say so. They also crafted swords and made things from wood and metal. Masonry comes from that.



Jay-Z believes in the theories as well, that's why he has the chorus from a mobb deep song in D'evils "illiuminati trap my soul, mind and my body"...he probably respects their way of power and it figures why his record company is a big empire in the hip hop industry, but it has absolutely NOTHING to do with new world orders or whatever the **** these conspiracy theorists come up with these days...



You gotta keep in mind 2 things here. Most conpsiracy theorists or people who believe in this **** also believe in god, something we can't actually see or talk to, or touch(and frankly, my prayers have never been answered, that's why im atheist)..the second thing is, these type of people will look at newspapers and watch the news almost 24/7 to analyze it and try to see a hidden puzzle and then call it a conspiracy theory...people will believe anything these days..it's the internet, it has that affect on people..so don't worry about this, cuz I don't believe he's a freemason, he's just a really good artist, but I wouldn't say the best ever either...lol

Yes I agree with you. I think that all these rumors about Jay-Z being a Freemason, or a member of the Illuminati are not true, and dumb. Jay-Z is not a Freemason or a member of the Illuminati, just because he does a few symbols with his hands, that resemble those of Freemasons, does not mean that he is a Freemason or a member of the Illuminati. Freemasons and the Illuminati are not about worshiping the devil. The Illuminati want control, power, money and a "New World Order." I think that if anything, Jay-Z is impressed by what they do and how organized and structured they are, and he might aspire to be like that and so he makes some things model after their society, but he is not a Freemason or member of the Illuminati.

not that jay is a freemason but a part of the illuminati... theres a huge diff... there are a lot references to it in a lot of his songs and album covers. especially being that jays biggest known emblem is the little HOVA sign where his hands make a triangle... in a lot of photo shoots he puts the triangle over his left eye depicting the eye of god that the illuminati believe in. and nas is far from any of that crap. nas is way to smart. listen to his latest unnamed album. the whole album is about the government and how people need to open there eyes and see how the gov. lies and stuff.
