I really liked the album, Collision Course, by Jay-Z and Linkin Park. It really bummed me out because there was only 6 songs that I heard on that album and I craved more. Nonetheless, I loved that album. So it got me the idea, maybe there's more like this. Then I realized something. Jay-Z is an incredibly good rap artist, and Linkin Park is an amazing alternative artist. I have many albums from both artists. So I realized I probably won't find another collaboration album nearly as good as theirs, but I still would like to hear others. I like a lot of rap, and I favor various forms of rock. adding them together is OMG amazing, Can anyone help me out?

Check the albums Take a Bite Outta Rhyme: A Rock Tribute to Rap, Loud Rocks, the Judgment Night soundtrack and the Spawn soundtrack. Linkin Park have also collaborated with Busta Rhymes. There's also many bands out there that mix hip-hop and rock typically known as Nu Metal or Rapcore. Check out bands like Limp Bizkit, early Papa Roach, Bionic Jive, Hed P.E. etc etc. Also, check out Rage Against The Machine and Beastie Boys. Those two bands are really the originators of Rap mixed with Rock.

I agree the song J did with lincoln part was good, but I usually dont like rap rock collaborations because for the most part they one kinda takes away from the other. Being a hip hop fan their is a big difference from a real hip hop song and a song that happens to have a person rapping on it.

these are not rock colloborations between a band and rapper but hip hop that is rock influenced in itself, (they specfically do that style of music)
