I was about 12 years old maybe younger when I really got into rap.

1. The Blueprint - Jay-Z

2. Jay-Z, I didn't really have any friends who listened to hip hop so I basically got

into hip hop all on my own through listening on NBA Live Soundtracks. In

The House by Jurassic 5 (NBA Live 06) was my first favorite song. I never looked into

any of J5's stuff after that. Soon after Jay-Z, I discovered Nas and that's when I

really started to get into stuff, looking up "Best rappers" lists on the internet. I also

found this site, which had a pretty decent community going, and got a lot of recs from it.

That's why I know the names of a lot of the older regs.

3. Stillmatic - Nas

4. I made lists of favorites before Yahoo...I like making lists...made my favorite

athletes lists, favorite video games...yeah

5. I'll do Jazz because I am still very secretive about my top 5 albums list (hip hop)

, Im working on a larger list so I want to keep my mind open,

been relistening to a lot of albums.

Herbie Hancock - Sextant

Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers - Moanin'

Miles davis - Kind of Blue

Wayne Shorter - Speak no Evil

John Coltrane - Blue train

6. Aceyalone, One Be Lo, Rakim, Sage Francis, Pharoahe Monch

7. O.G. Loc, Cage Kennylz, Wirftgu, those are the guys I usually get recs from

8. Yeah

9. 4...that's how it is for me, and 4 is my favorite number

10. 9.89875/10

10. 7. It should be 6 since 2 of these questions are generic, and 2 of them are about the question, so that makes 6/10 good questions, but I'll bump you one just for encouragement.

Forgot to say how old I was. I don't remember honestly. 7 or 8 if I had to take a guess.

EDIT: Yeah, you're right, but the way you went about pointing it out was kinda obnoxious.

2. It was Talib Kweli for the first week. But then again I only knew like 3 rappers in that first week so.....

9. This question? I bet it gets 10+
