A simplified answer may well be that hip-hop focuses commonly on the beat and rhythm of the track while rap focuses extra on the lyrics and bypass of the artist. in case you pay attention intently between the two, you will see that hip-hop songs many times have very catchy “hooks” often called refrain lines that are repeated for the period of the track, and rap songs many times in simple terms have a non-give up beat with little or no hooks in them in any respect. it is because of the fact the track would not focus some plenty so on the entire beat/rhythm of the track yet extremely on the unique lyrics and sort of bypass of the artist rapping. as an occasion, Jay-Z and Naz are the two standard rappers, yet have 2 fullyyt diverse rapping varieties, speeds, flows, etc… wish that enables cheers!

Sporty Thieves: No Pigeons

That song came out in '99; nobody plays it anymore and it was hot. it was a response to the TLC song,No Scrubs, and a member of both groups died shortly after.
