What rappers you think are pretty boring, or you just never gotten into them?

I got this idea becuase some ppl on here think that *cough* cough* lupe fiasco 7 Kanye sucks...Or *cough*cough*....Undergound music is boring...or *cough* cough* Rakim is boring....lol. U guys know who u are but I have rappers who I'm not into neither...lol... Here's my list...

Eminem( don't care about someone making disses 2wards his mother)
Kool G Rap( eh...I dislike his flow with that lisp lol)
Mobb Deep( Boring!!!!)
DMX( That barking & yelling is very annoying, yet he has a few catchy songs but I'm not into his flow)
Talib Kweli( I like Mos Def & Common...But I don't feel him much...On the Blackstar album I just liked Mos Def's parts.lol)
The Roots( Iono they're okay but I think they're boring)

Those are just a few I tell ya...!!! lol...Well name a few rap arists that u know people say they're talented but u never have gotten into them... 4 sum reason...

im gonna have to disagree with the roots, talib kweli, kool g rap, eminem and dmx.... i do find mobb deep monotonous though



I love nas, but i admit he has a lot of boring songs.. and the way he flows is really uninspiring most of the time

i find lil jon & the eastside boys and the ying yang twins really boring and sort of ignorant

i love common but i have to admit he has some boring songs as well.. and sometimes its like he doesnt listen to the beat and just raps coz the timing seems off.. or he raps acapella and just pastes it on top of the beat

i find all raggaeton really boring and they all sound the same to me.. (does that count? coz sometimes its classified as hiphop)

tony yayo is very boring

the outlawz are very boring

im sorry, but i never got into mf doom. he's too off-tangent for me, and i find the effort required to listen and break down what he says to be a boring activity

i never liked 3 6 mafia...

i found redman to be boring as well

i never really liked beanie sigel.. he had a few songs that were ok, and his style is hard hitting but i think his wordplay is pretty weak

i find memphis bleek boring as well

and need i mention souljah boi

i find camron, jim jones and juelz and basically the whole dipset boring... i think that they're really quite shallow and their rhymes are really simplistic

50 cent has gotten more boring with every album... I loved GRODT, the massacre was so-so, and curtis is just absolute trash

ditto with lloyd banks.. he was hot when he first came out, but after the first album his rhymes became really shallow and his delivery took a nosedive

In the group as goodie mobb, I was cool with him. Now as a solo artisit, I am really lost!

I didn't get Paul Wall, B.G, Royce da 5'9,Lil Zane, Ali, Field Mobb, Master P ( I only like make em Say UGGHH out of all the music he has made!), AZ, or Bubba Sparks. Everything isn't for everybody.

I am one of the biggest Nas fans you'll ever meet, but brutha let me tell you I will be the first one to admit the mans music can be boring. I def wouldn't bump Nas on the way to the club or anything like that because he's chill as hell. It doesn't take away from my love for him though, he's still dope as hell.



But Mobb Deep??? I own almost their entire catalog and their music is anything but boring. I think if I exposed you to some of my unreleased collection you would have a change of heart.



I agree with you list for the most part, but I wanna make something clear, just because a rapper is boring doesn't take away from their creativity, or skills. It simply means that the music is a little more laid back than the rest.

mos def ,the roots-which have a unique style(not a huge fan)

old school mobb deep and dmx ony...and eminem had a few true songs,i wont knock him for being white and for his mother maybe she needed to hear it no matter if it was a jab in the heart....(not a fanatic)



the rest of them up there i could car less i like the kanye ft. young jeezy track but chamilionare had the same beat and i rather hear him.

Pharaohe Monch...I dont know why but the guys gets so much props for his multies and everything, but its freakin hard for me to pay attention to the guy.



Some others for me include Killah Priest, Chino XL (ever since Hit em' Up I never bothered listening to the guy), and Jeru the Damaja. All of them, especially Jeru, get to much hype for being lyrical geniuses. I shouldnt speak for Chino though lol.

pretty much all the mainstream rappers out. there are a few though that i like but not alot. i think i dont like them because it seems like every song that comes out on the radio or tv has the same dance type beat, like they cant make a song that you can just sit and chill too. thats what i miss in the mainstream the chill songs.
